The concept of the Stayer and the entire project were conceived and initially presented at the VII Conference of the International Alfred Schutz Circle for Phenomenology and Interpretive Social Science in Vienna, in April 2025. However, the first intuitions dawned in summer 2024 at the International Research Summer School in Genetic Phenomenology in Warsaw. Since then, it has been presented at 6 invited talks and 10 international conferences across Poland, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Denmark, and Spain.
